The failure of the PS3 is all blurays fault, it is ironic too, because by the time HD media becomes mainstream so people know what it is and it becomes a factor, bluray players will be 150 to 200 bux, the fact that the PS3 has one will be meaningless because PS3 will still cost at least 300 dollars. Needs to take that money and advertise how great the 360 truly is, very few people know even half of it's features, if they did they wouldn't think the PS3 was so superior. I know a guy who didn't even know he could stream television to his 360 from his TV tuner in his PC. M$ marketing department is crap.

I noticed that everyone jumped on the "Gears of War pushed the limits of 360" bandwagon, but when someone hints that PS3 limits have been pushed, everyone rushes to defend it, "no this cant be, this is false, nothing can push the limits of PS3" LOL you kids are something else. Neither of the consoles will be pushed to their limits so soon in this gen, period, NEITHER.
Everything has to be done for girls nowadays, gaming was the one thing that catered to males, and now we lose that? You guys need to understand that if girls get heavily into gaming, all lead characters will be female, with female issues, and we will all be playing with wii like consoles and wii like games, girls dont care about HD gaming and the power of the cell, they could care less about perfomance. Everyone expected this to be multiplatform. Plus, I have noticed that 360 fans don't care nearly as much as PS3 fans when their games go multi platform.

Well we have seen Sony use PGR3 pics and try to push them as their own on several occasions, I am not sure Sony is above such marketing behavior.
If this was the other way around and MS was advertising MGS4 as their own, not one of you would question it, you would be going on how MS is sleazy and evil, why anyone thinks Sony is any better I fail to understand.
Failure is a relative term in the console war; however, the PS3 will almost certainly not win or be in first place this gen, and there are two reasons for this.
1. Games, PS3 will probably always have fewer games than 360, fewer demos on PSN than XBL, and PS3 will likely continue to get games after 360. Installed base will see to it that 360 remains the lead development platform.
2. The second reason is price, the PS3 will never be cheaper than 360, no matter ho...

I dont think this will change, and what ever the excuse or reason for this is irrelivant, EA lazy, devs need time to learn the Cell, all that BS means nothing, cuz in the end the 360 is proving to be a better console for gaming. I personally am not going to by a console based on promises and potential. (actually I already did but im selling it)
